Lord of All Week 3

Week 3

Key passage for daily reading: Matthew 7:21-28

January 13, Sunday

Calling Jesus “Lord” implies a decision to treat Him as our Lord. Read and reflect on Matthew 7:21-28

>Prayer for today: Lord, where am I not being obedient to what You’re asking of me? Help me to be still long enough to hear You and then obey You.

January 14, Monday $$

Do you have a plan for the money God has give to you? Aside from paying bills, take some time to map out financial dreams and goals for the year ahead…or maybe just even the month ahead.

>Prayer for today: Lord, how do You want me to use Your money? What would bring You joy?

January 15, Tuesday

We can all agree that having a solid foundation is absolutely necessary for any building. The same is true for our lives.

>Prayer for today: Lord, please help me see the problems in my foundation. I want my life built on rock not sand. And after You’ve shown me the problems, remind me that You’re able to fix them and/or You’ll give me wisdom and strength to work around them.

January 16, Wednesday

Is it possible that you aren’t expecting your life to be filled with rain, floods, and wind? Whether we build on rock or sand, the storms are inevitable.

>Prayer for today: Lord, thank You for this reminder—storms will come but You are there (Matthew 8:23-27).

January 17, Thursday

Verse 29 says that Jesus taught as one who had authority. If you didn’t read it yesterday, take the next ten minutes to read and pray over Matthew 8:23-27.

>Prayer for today: Lord, help me to see You present and active in my storms today and help me to be able to encourage others in their storms.

January 18, Friday

What is one change in your money practices that you need to make? How can putting Jesus first and trusting His direction in your life help you make that change?

>Prayer for today: Lord, Your word says that if we don’t have wisdom, we should ask You and You won’t be stingy about giving it to us (James 1:5). Please give me that wisdom as I make the following change in my finances: __________________________________________

January 19, Saturday

This is My Desire

This is my desire

To honor You

Lord, with all my heart

I worship You

All I have within me

I give You praise

All that I adore

Is in You

Lord, I give You my heart

I give You my soul

I live for You alone

And every breath that I take

Every moment I'm awake

Lord, have Your way in me

This Sabbath’s sermon will be from Matthew 7:21-28. We hope you’ll join us at the Athens Georgia Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Our 10am Sabbath School classes (Bible study) are for all ages. We then come together for a joint worship service at 11am. Stay by for our fellowship meal. Bring a dish to share, if you can. If you can’t, don’t worry—stay anyway!
